HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-240 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -240 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR RADIO EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and Assistant to Administrator have reported that on August 1, 1966 at 2 :00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of radio equipment and that said bids were as follows: Two (2) Portable Crystal Bidder Manufacturer Base Station Radios Chanaeout Total Donnor Comm. RCA 2650.00 1100.00 20.00 3770.00 Motorola C E, Inc. Motorola 1947.40 1398.50 28.75 3374.65 General Comm. Inc. General Electric 2080.00 1250.00 15.00 3345.00 and Wabco NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Motorola C E, Inc. for the furnishing of radio equipment meeting or exceeding all specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is he by accepted. August 8, 1966 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Simons, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
