HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-242 CCR Member Theodore Willardintroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -242 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY VILLAGE) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Ray Jordan Sons, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord ance with said contract: Furnishing and delivering topsoil at Lions Park and Evergreen Park. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $984.18 because of general underestimating of plan quantities. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satisfied on said contract on August 8, 1966, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $19,776.18. Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Simons, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
