HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-249 CCR r The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the consideration of proposed Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1966 -40. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice cf hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on August 17, 1966, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -249 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1966 -40 BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the Village and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: Project No. 1966 -40 Storm sewer in Noble Avenue North from F.A.I. 94 north right -of -way line to 68th Avenue, and in 68th Avenue North from Noble Avenue to Lee Avenue. The estimated cost is $20,871.00. August 22, 1966 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, john Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
