HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-267 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -267 RESOLUTION APPROVING SERVICE STATION, SPECIAL USE PERMISSION AND PLANS AS REQUESTED IN 4 APPLICATIONS 66019 and 66037 SUBMITTED BY DEMAC;Inc. WHEREAS, DEMAC, Inc. has filed Application No. 66037 which includes a request for the issuance of a special use permit for a service station on the property described as Lot 3, Block 1, DEMAC Addition; and WHEREAS, DEMAC, Inc. has submitted plans with Application No. 66019 for the proposed service station on Lot 3 of Block 1, DEMAC Addition; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has, after public notice and hearing recommended that a special use permit be granted for the operation of a service station on the subject parcel, after also having reviewed and approved detailed plans of the service station and its site; and WHEREAS, the Village Council has received said recommendation and has further considered the application in light of the standards for Special Use Permits of Section 35 -231, and has found it to conform to such standards: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center authorizes a special use permit for a service station on Lot 3, Block 1, DEMAC Addition. The Village Council also approves the plans and specifications submitted to the Council, subject to the following conditions and restrictions: 1. The plans approved are subject to the approval of the Building Inspector; 2. The special use shall conform to the specifications set out by the Minnesota Highway Department in its letter of August 8, 1966 regarding Entrance Permit 5AD- 66 -93; 3. No free standing signing has been considered or is being given approval for in this action. September 12, 1966 Date n Mayor ATTEST: Clerk Resolution No. 66 -267. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member john Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof; Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, john Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
