1966 -17, AND CURB 6 GUTTER IMPROVEMENT NO'S. 1965 -2,
1965 -6 AND 1966 -18, AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1965 -46,
AND SANITARY LATERAL IMPROVEMENT NO'S. 1965 -43, 1965 -45,
1965 -56, 1965 -59, 1966 -11 1966 -25, 1966 -33, AND WATER
IMPROVEMENT NO'S. 1965 -13, 1965 -16, 1965 -18, 1965 -47, 1966 -4

PUBLIC UTILITIES WATER REVENUE 66 HOOK -UPS, AND WATER HOOK
UPS, AND SEWER CONNECTIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Village Clerk has, with the assistance of the
Engineer heretofore selected by this Council for such purpose, cal-
culated the proper amounts to be specially assessed for the improve-
ments known as the improvements listed above of said Village against
every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land in accordance with the
provisions of law, and has prepared and filed with the Village Clerk
tabulated statements in duplicate showing the proper description of
each and every lot piece or parcel of land to be specially assessed
and the amount calculated against the same.
2. Notice has been duly published as required by law that
this Council would meet in special session on Monday, September 19,
1966 and in regular session on Monday, September 26, 1966 to pass
on the proposed assessments.
3. Said proposed assessments have at all times been open
to inspection and copying by all persons interested, and opportunity
has been given to all interested persons to present their objections,
if any, to such proposed assessments, or to any item thereof.
4. This Council finds that each of the lots, pieces or
parcels of land enumerated in said proposed assessments was and is
specially benefitted by said improvement in the amount of said pro-
posed assessment set opposite the description of each such lot,
piece or parcel of land, and that amount so set out is hereby levied
against each of the respective lots, pieces or parcels of land therein
described.
S. Such proposed assessments are adopted and confirmed,
and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessments are
affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessments
for each of said lots, pieces or parcels of land respectively.

6. Said assessments as adopted and confirmed shall be
certified to by the Village Clerk and filed in his office and shall
thereon be and constitute the special assessments for the payment
of the above listed improvements.
7. The amounts assessed against each lot, piece or parcel
of land shall bear interest from the date hereof until the same
have been paid at the rate of five per cent (50) per annum.
8. Such assessments shall be payable in equal installments
beginning in the year 1967 payable on the first day of January in
each year and continuing until all of said installments shall have
been paid, each installment to be collected with taxes collectible
during aid year b the Count Auditor.

1966 -18 in fifteen equal annual installments.

1965 -56 and 1965 -59 in twenty equal annual installments.
G. Sanitary Lateral Improvement No's. 1966 -11, 1966 -25
and 1966 -33 in fifteen equal annual installments.
H. Water Improvement No's. 1965 -13, 1965 -16, 1965 -18,
1965 -47 1966 -4 1966 -6 1966 -9, 1966 -20 1966 -26,
and 1966 -28 in twenty equal annual installments.
I. Water Improvement No. 1966 -24 in fifteen equal annual
installments.
J. Public Utilities Water Revenue 66 in twenty equal
annual installments.
K. Water Hook -ups in twenty equal annual installments.
L. Sewer Connections in twenty equal annual installments.

9. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to make up and
file in the office of the County Auditor of Hennepin County a
certified statement of the amount which will be due thereon the
first day of January in each year.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl
Simons, john Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard,
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
