HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-282 CCR r Member Earl Simons introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -282 RESOLUTION APPROVING 1967 BUDGET AND AUTHORIZING A LEVY THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center as follows: 1. There is hereby approved for expenditures in 1967 from general taxes, the following sums for the purpose indicated: Village Operations Administration $660,827.00 Poor Relief 10, 000.00 Firemen's Relief Association 1,560.00 Public Employee Retirement Assoc. 42,758.00 County Parks 3,653.00 $718,798.00 The foregoing does not include levies already certified to the County Auditor for the payment of outstanding loans which levies for the year 1967 are as follows: Certificate of Indebtedness 34, 047.00 State Loan 1,505.00 Park Bond Redemption 32,900.00 Library Bond Redemption 17, 600.00 86,052 00 Total Expenditures for the year 1967 from general taxes $804,850.00 2. There is hereby levied upon all taxable property lying within the Village of Brooklyn Center, in addition to all levies heretofore certified to the County Auditor as indicated in paragraph 1 hereof, the sum of $718,798, and the clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to be certified to the County Auditor, so that said sum shall be spread upon the tax rolls and will be payable in the year 1967.
