HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-285 CCR r Member Theodore Willard introduced the following -resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -285 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY VILLAGE) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord ance with said contract: Street Surfacing Project No. 1966 -21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $41.44 because of general overestimating of plan quantities. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satisfied on said contract on October 10, 1966, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $7,783.44. 1 October 10, 1966 L Date ifi$ayor ATTEST: �.X Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Simons, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
