HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-289 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -289 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF CRUSHED ROCK SALT WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and Assistant to Administrator have reported that on October 10, 1966 at 2:00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of crushed rock salt and that said bids were as follows: Alternate Rust Rock Salt Prohibitive Salt Carey Salt Co. 12.25 per ton No Bid International Salt Co. 10.80 per ton No Bid Cargill Inc. 9.80 per ton 13.80 per ton Diamond Crystal Salt Co. 10.80 per ton No Bid NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the alternate bid of Cargill, Inc. in the amount of $13.80 per ton for the furnishing of rust prohibitive salt is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and that said bid is hereby accepted. o October 24, 1966 Date UMayor ATTEST: fa o x Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, Howard Heck, John Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
