HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-292 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0.66 -292 RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY LAYOUT #1 INTERSECTION OF C. S.A.H. #10 AT T.H. #152 WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Highway Department on October 24, 1966 submitted Layout #1 which is described as a preliminary design for the intersection of C.S.A. H. #10 at Trunk Highway #152, and WHEREAS, the Layout #1 also involves design considerations along T.H. #152 between C. S. A. H. 10 and 5 6th Avenue North, and WHEREAS, the preliminary Layout #1 involves the acquisition of right -of -way on the south side of C.S.A.H. #10 between T.H. #152 and Northport Drive, and WHEREAS, the Village of Brooklyn Center is requested to participate to the extent of fifty percent of said right -of -way cost, and WHEREAS, the Village Administrator recommends the approval of Layout #1 and further recommends the fifty percent participation in the intersection right -of- way costs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota to approve the design concept embodied in preliminary Layout #1 submitted by the Hennepin County Highway Department and further resolve the intent of the Village of Brooklyn Center to participate to the extent of fifty percent of the right -of -way costs relative to the south side of C. S.A.H. #10 between T.H. #152 and Northport Drive. October 31, 1966 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, John Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
