HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-295 CCR FOP Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -295 RESOLUTION ADOPTING A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE VILLAGE OF BROOKLYN CENTER WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center did receive from the Planning Commission of said Village on February 28, 1966 a proposed Comprehensive Plan for the development of the Village as adopted by the Commission on February 17, 1966 in accordance with Chapter 670 of Minnesota Statutes; and WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the proposed Comprehensive Plan in light of the conditions in existence at the time of the adoption of the Plan by the Commission, and has made certain minor revisions to that Plan to further reflect those conditions; and WHEREAS, the Village Council recognizes the value of a comprehensive municipal plan for the purpose of providing a general base from which decisions regarding the development of the community can be made: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center hereby adopts the Comprehensive Plan documents, including maps, diagrams, and text so designated as the Comprehensive Plan of this date and on file in the Village Offices, as the official Comprehensive Plan of the Village of Brooklyn Center. November 7, 1966 Date Mayor 2 ATTEST: a C*�� Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member, Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, john Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
