NOW, THEREFORE, BEIT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $1 because of general overestimating and underestimating of plan quantities, and because the contractor bid a unit price on 2" C.I.P. which was almost half the unit price bid for 405 Lin. Therefore, to take advantage of the economies therein, the 2 C.I.P. was substituted for the 1 -1/2" copper as part of a field design change, at a substantial saving to the Village. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on November 14, 1966, taking the contractor's receipt in full.
