HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-301 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -301 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY VILLAGE) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accordance with said contract: Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1966 -7 59th Avenue North from T.H. 152 (Osseo Road) to Xerxes Avenue; 60th Avenue North from T.H. 152 (Osseo Road) to Xerxes Avenue; Beard Avenue North from 59th Avenue to 60th Avenue; Abbott Avenue North from 158 feet south of 59th Avenue to 150 feet north of 60th Avenue; Zenith Avenue North from 155 feet south of 59th Avenue to 150 feet north of 60th Avenue; York Avenue North from 152 feet south of 59th Avenue to 150 feet north of 60th Avenue. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $249.76 because of general overestimating of plan quantities, and due to the deletion from the project of the westerly t 100 feet of 60th Avenue North (just east of Osseo Road) and the easterly 50 feet of 59th Avenue North (west of Xerxes Avenue and included as part of the Xerxes project instead). 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satisfied on said contract on November 14, 1966, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $12,644.24.
