NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original con tract amount by $1,288.58 because of general overestimating and underestimating of plan quantities, and because the contractor bid a unit price on 2" C.I.P. which was almost half the unit price bid for 405 Lin. Ft. of 1 -1/2" copper. Therefore, to take advantage of the economies therein, the 2" C.I.P. was substituted for the 1 -1/2" copper as part of a field design change, at a substantial saving to the Village. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on November 14 1966, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $26 November 14, 1966 Date yor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Beck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: 7hi lip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Simons, Howard Deck and Theodore Millard and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
