HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-310 CCR Member Earl Simons introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 66 -310 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY VILLAGE) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc., has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accordance with said contract: Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1966 -27 I 61st Avenue North from Halifax Place to Ewing Avenue. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $36.96 because of general underestimating of plan quantities. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satisfied on said contract on November 14, 1966, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $1,982.40. November 14, 1966 J Date n U Mayor ATTEST: P C k" The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, John Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted.
