moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 66 -315
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
HOCKEY RINK FLOODLIGHTING AT KYLAWN AND GRANDVIEW PARKS
WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and Director of Parks and
Recreation have reported that on November 14, 1966 at 2:00 P.M. they
opened and tabulated bids received for the construction of Hockey Rink
Floodlighting at Kylawn and Grandview Parks and that said bids were as
follows:
KYLAWN GRANDVIEW TOTAL ALT (Steel Poles)
Electric Repair $4892.00 4732.00 9624.00 7809.00
Skeldon Green, Inc. 4270.00 3885.00 8155.00 255.00
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Skeldon- Green, Inc.
in the amount of $8,410.00 including the alternate for steel poles is
deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and that said
bid is hereby accepted.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Theodore Willard, and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, Howard
Heck, john Leary and Theodore Willard,
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
