HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-328 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -328 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR ONE (1) NINE PASSENGER STATION WAGON WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Administrative Assistant have reported that on December 12, 1966 at 2 :00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of one (1) Nine Passenger Station Wagon and that said bids were as follows: Add for Power Add for Total Steering Power Brakes Bid Price Iten Chevrolet 68.40 30.40 2542.65 Brookdale Ford 68.45 Standard 2544.83 (power disc brakes) WHEREAS, it has been demonstrated that Brookdale Ford has has made a $200.00 error in their proposal thereby making a total bid price of $2,813.28. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Iten Chevrolet in the amount of $2, 641.45 for the furnishing of one (1) Nine Passenger Station Wagon with power steering and power brakes in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and that said bid is hereby accepted. December 19, 1966 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
