HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-330 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -330 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR ONE (1) 27,500 G.V.W.DUMP TRUCK I WHEREAS, the City Manager and Administrative Assistant have reported that on December 12, 1966 at 2 :00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for furnishing of one (1) 27,500 G. V.W. Dump Truck, and that said bids were as follows: Delivery Bid Days Price Bill Boyer Ford 30 60 7,128.00 Brookdale Motors 90 120 7,192.97 Crystal Motors 30 45 7,255.00 McGee Trucks, Inc. 90 150 7,178.06 Iten Chevrolet 30 90 6,745.00 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Iten Chevrolet in the amount of $6, 745.00 for the furnishing of one (1) 27, 500 G. V. W. Dump Truck in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder, and that said bid is hereby ccepted. December 19, 1966 Date Mayor ATTEST: &t'ca Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
