HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-162 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -162 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1966 -3A WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement consisting of the following: 1966 -3A Storm sewer in 59th Avenue North and 60th Avenue North from Beard Avenue to Xerxes Avenue, and in Abbott Avenue North from 150 feet south of 59th Avenue to 59th Avenue. WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost of $29,242.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 398, Laws of Minnesota, 1953, as amended. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the Village Hall in the Village on Monday, the 13th day of June, 1966, at 9:10 o'clock P.M., D.S.T., and the Clerk shall pub- lish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publica- tion in the official newspaper of the Village. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS DESCRIBED AS: An area bounded on the west by Trunk Highway 152; on the south by Block 5, Hipp's 3rd Addition; on the east by Beard Avenue North; on the north by 60th Avenue North; all of Grimme's 2nd Addition as recorded in the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, except Lots 1 6 2 of Block 1, therein; all of Hipp's 3rd Addition as recorded in the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, except Lots 1 8 2 of Block 1, Lot 4 of Block 4, and that part of Lot 3, Block 4 lying northwesterly of a line from the southwest corner to the northeast corner, and Lots 1 through 9 of Block 9, therein; the west 165 feet of the north 94 feet of the south 180 feet of Lot 39, Auditor's Subdivision No. 216. RESOLUTION NO. 66 -162 4. The proposed improvement shall be designated Storm Sewer Improvement No. 1966 -3A. A May 31, 1966 L.. Date Mayor ATTEST: L'1 a': LL t -n Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof :Earl Simons, Howard Heck, john Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
