and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 66 -164
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT NO. 1966 -7
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improve-
ment consisting of the following:
1966 -7 Street surfacing on 59th Avenue North from T.H.152
(Osseo Road) to Xerxes Avenue; 60th Avenue North from T. H. 152
(Osseo Road) to Xerxes Avenue; Beard Avenue North from 59th Avenue
to 60th Avenue; Abbott Avenue North from 158 feet south of 59th
Avenue to 150 feet north of 60th Avenue; Zenith Avenue North from
155 feet south of 59th Avenue to 150 feet north of 60th Avenue;
York Avenue North from 152 feet south of 59th Avenue to 150 feet
north of 60th Avenue.
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has made a preliminary report
advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can
be constructed at an estimated cost of $35,410.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of
the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted
by Chapter 398, Laws of Minnesota, 1953, as amended.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be
held at the Village Hall in the Village on Monday, the 13th day of
June, 1966, at 8:40 o'clock P.M., D.S.T., and the Clerk shall pub-
lish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publica-
tion in the official newspaper of the Village.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement
is as follows:
ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE NAMED STREETS
WHERE THE PROJECT IS TO BE CONSTRUCTED.
4. The proposed improvement shall be designated Street
Surfacing Improvement No. 1966 -7.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Howard Heck, John
Leary, Earl Simons and Theodore Willard,
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
