HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-172 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: SOLUTION NO. 66-172 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and the Village Engineer have reported that on May 31, 1966, at 2 :00 o'clock P.M., daylight saving time, they opened and tabulated bids received for furnishing and delivering topsoil at Evergreen Park and Lions Park, and that said bids were as follows: Bidder Evergreen Park Lions Park Ray Jordan 8 Sons, Inc. Alt. 10,395.00 Alt. #1 NO BID (Black dirt) (Peat topsoil) Alt. #2 14,310.00 (Black dirt) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Ray Jordan 6 Sons, Inc., in the amount of $7,238.00 for Evergreen Park and $11,554.00 for Lions Park, as to furnishing of all work, labor and material in connection with the furnishing and delivering of topsoil at Evergreen Park and Lions Park, according to the plans and speci- fications therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted.
