HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-173 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -173 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and the Village Engineer have reported that on May 18, 1966, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., daylight saving time, they opened and tabulated bids received for Street Improvement Project No's. 1966 -1, 2, 3, 17 6 18, and that said bids were as follows: C. S. McCrossan, Inc. ...............$164,260.77 Bury Carlson, Inc. $165,921.67 Dunkley Surfacing, Inc. $180,094.92 Alexander Construction Co., Inc. $194 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of C. S. McCrossan, Inc., in the amount of $164,260.77, as to furnishing of all work, labor and material in connection with Street Improvement Project No's. 1966 -1, 2 3 17 6 18, according to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk, is deemed to be the lowest and best bid sub mitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. Tune 6, 1966 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, Howard Heck, john Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
