HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-174 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -174 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and the Village Engineer have reported that on May 16, 1966, at 11:00 o'clock A.M., D.S.T., they opened and tabulated bids received for the Northport Park Tennis Courts, and that said bids were as follows: Northland Constructors, Inc. $10,975.99 Carlson- Lavine, Inc. $12,492.49 and WHEREAS, Bituminous Roadways, Inc., submitted a bid of $10,328.45 as an alternate proposal, not consistent with the specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Northland Constructors, Inc., in the amount of $10 as to furnishing of all work, labor and material in connection with the Northport Park Tennis Courts Improvement Project, according to the plans and speci- fications therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk, is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, Howard Heck, John Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
