HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-194 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -194 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and the Village Engineer have reported that on May 18, 1966, at 2 :00 o'clock P. M. daylight saving time, they opened and tabulated bids received for Street Improvement Project No's 1966 -1, 2, 3, 17 and 18, and that said bids were as follows: C.S. McCrossan, Inc $173,510.29 Bury Carlson, Inc. 165,921.67 Dunkley Surfacing, Inc 180,094.92 Alexander Construction Co 194,162.67 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Bury Carlson, Inc., in the amount of $165,921.67, as to furnishing of all work, labor and material in connection with Street Improvement Projects No's 1966 -1, 2, 3, 17 18, according to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk, is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. Tune 16, 1966 i Date Mayor ATTEST: Lam Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
