HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-209 CCR Member Theodore Willardintroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption; RESOLUTION N0. 66 -209 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY VILLAGE) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Dunkley Surfacing Company, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following im- provement in accordance with said contract: Public Utilities Extensions Improvement Project No. 1965 -17. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $436.00 because of general underestimating of quantities. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satisfied on said contract on June 13, 1966, taking the con- tractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $7,699.00. July 5, 1966 Date ayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
