HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-211 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -211 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and the Village Engineer have reported that on July 7, 1966, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., D.S.T., they opened and tabulated bids received for Water Main Improvement Project No's. 1966 -6, 20, 23, 24, 26 and 28, Storm Sewer Improvement Project No's. 1966 -3A and 22, and Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No's. 1966 -11, 25 and 33, and that said bids were as follows: Erwin Montgomery Construction Company $137,434.48 Minn -Kota Excavating, Inc. $138,476.20 McDonald -Luben 8 Associates, Inc. $138 Randall 8 Reed $143,254.81 Bianconi Construction Company $146,166.05 G. L. Contracting, Inc. $152,985.30 Northern Contracting Company, Inc. $157,969.41 Walbon Excavating Company $158 F. D. Chapman Construction Company $160,185.82 Barbarossa 8 Sons, Inc. $171,305.05 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Erwin Montgomery Construction Company in the amount of $137,434.48, as to furnishing of all work, labor and material in connection with Water Main Improvement Project No's. 1966 -6, 20, 23, 24, 26 and 28, Storm Sewer Improvement Project No's. 1966 -3A and 22, and Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No's. 1966 -11, 25, and 33, according to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk,is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. July 11, 1966 Date Mayor ATTEST: (✓v Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by memberTheodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, Howard Heck, john Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
