HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-214 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION rrO. 66 -214 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY VILLAGE) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1965 -31 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $10.07 because of general overestimating of plan quantities. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satisfied on said contract on July 11, 1966, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $2,301.79. July 11, 1966 Date Mayor ATTEST: J a Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, Howard Heck, John Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
