HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-215 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -215 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY VILLAGE) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1965 -32 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $130.91 because of general underestimating of plan quantities. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satisfied on said contract on July 11, 1966, taking the con- tractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $7,884.28. July 11, 1966 Date O Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, Howard Heck, John Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted.
