Member John Leary introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 66 -115
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 1966 -20 AND STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 1966 -21, AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the Village
Council to initiate Water Main Improvement Project No. 1966 -20
and Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1966 -21.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of
the Village of Brooklyn Center to accept the petition presented
and to direct the Village Engineer to prepare plans and specifi-
cations for said Water Main Improvement Project No. 1966 -20 and
Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1966 -21, described as
follows:
1966 -20 Water Main
59th Avenue North from Xerxes Avenue to Upton Avenue;
60th Avenue North from Xerxes Avenue to Vincent Avenue;
Washburn Avenue North from 149 feet south of 59th Avenue
to approximately 185 feet north of 60th Avenue; Vincent
Avenue North from 149 feet south of 59th Avenue to
150 feet north of 60th Avenue; Upton Avenue North from
150 feet south of 59th Avenue to 240 feet north of
59th Avenue.
1966 -21 Street Surfacing
59th Avenue North from Xerxes Avenue to Upton Avenue;
60th Avenue North from Xerxes Avenue to 134 feet east
of Vincent Avenue; Washburn Avenue North from 149 feet
south of 59th Avenue to 184 feet north of 60th Avenue;
Vincent Avenue North from 149 feet south of 59th Avenue
to 150 feet north of 60th Avenue; Upton Avenue North
from 150 feet south of 59th Avenue to approximately
265 feet north of 59th Avenue.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken

thereon, the following voted in favor thereof Philip Cohen, Earl
Simons, John Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard,
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
