HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-119 CCR Member Earl Simons introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO.66 -119 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1966 -22 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement consisting of the following: 1966 -22 Storm Sewer in 60th Avenue North from Vincent Avenue to Xerxes Avenue and in Vincent Avenue North from 59th Avenue to the outfall line on the north line of Tract C. R.L.S. No. 1142. WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has made preliminary report advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost of $8,520.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 398, Laws of Minnesota, 1953, as amended. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the Village Hall in the Village on Tuesday, the 31st day of May, 1966, at 8:10 o'clock P.M., D.S.T., and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' pub- lication in the official newspaper of the Village. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS DESCRIBED AS: All of Hipp's 4th Addition as recorded in the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, except Lots 3 and 4 of Block 3, Lots 6 through 18 of Block 4, and all of Block 9. 4. The proposed improvement shall be designated Storm Sewer Improvement No. 1966 -22. May 16, 1966 PA, /J Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, John Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
