moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 66 -125
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK OF CONTRACTORS ON
THE BROOKLYN CENTER PUBLIC LIBRARY
WHEREAS, contract work has been satisfactorily completed on the
Village of Brooklyn Center Public Library; and
WHEREAS, Cerny Associates, architects for the Library project,
have inspected work performed by the general contractor, the mechanical
contractor, and the electrical contractor; and
WHEREAS, the architect has recommended in a letter dated May 18, 1966
that the work of the general contractor, the mechanical contractor, and the
electrical contractor be accepted; and
WHEREAS, the work performed by the contractors not subject to the
architect's approval has been inspected by the Village Administrative Staff
and deemed satisfactory; and
WHEREAS, final contract payments have been satisfied on said contracts
on the following dates and in the amount shown:
Cerny Associates, Architect May 23, 1966 14, 935.24
Dean L. Witcher, Inc. General Contractor,
February 14, 1966 $150,038.00
Gopher Electric Co. ,Electrical Contractor,
February 14, 1966 15, 169.89
Harry Horwitz Co. Inc. Mechanical Contractor,

C. S. McCrossan, Inc., Parking Lot surfacing,
December 13,1965 832.10
Pederson Bros. Curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveways,
September 13, 1965 2,212.25
Pederson Bros. Concrete Curb,
December 13, 1965 364.50
and
WHEREAS, the Village of Brooklyn Center did accept, with certain
exceptions, the work performed by the general contractor on November 24, 1965;
and
WHEREAS, the exceptions noted have now been resolved:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Brooklyn Center that the work performed by the aforementioned
contractors be accepted as of Monday, May 23, 1966.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, john Leary
and Theodore Willard
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
