HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-146 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -146 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY VILLAGE) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Keys Well Drilling Co. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accordance with said contract: DEEP WELL IMPROVEMENT NO. 1965 -37 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $6,438.63 because it was determined after preliminary test pumping to achieve an increased water production which resulted in additional costs. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satisfied on said contract on December 13, 1965, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said improvement project wa 24, 878.63. May 23, 1966 Date "Mayor ATTEST: 1 Clerk: The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, John Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
