HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-158 CCR r Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -158 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY VILLAGE) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Erwin Montgomery Construction Company has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accordance with said contract: Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1965 -56 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $1,677.60 because of general overestimating of plan quantities and a grade change to lesser depths to facilitate construction. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satisfied on said contract on May 23, 1966, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said improvement project was $9,348.70. May 31, 1966 Date j Mayor ATTEST: C�.elk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, john Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
