HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-016 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -16 RESOLUTION REQUESTING BROOKLYN PARK VILLAGE COUNCIL TO FURNISH WATER AND SANITARY SEWER SERVICE TO PROPERTY LOCATED IN BROOKLYN CENTER WHEREAS, Mr. Thomas Wilder has petitioned the Brooklyn Center Planning Commission and Village Council to rezone certain properties which abut the Village of Brooklyn Park to permit construction of multiple dwellings, said property being described as Parcel 6223, Auditor's Subdivision 57, and lying north of Shingle Creek; and WHEREAS, said petition was denied because water and sanitary sewer service from the Village of Brooklyn Center were not economically available to the property; and WHEREAS, the provision of water and sanitary sewer service to the subject property by the Village of Brooklyn Park would permit the economical development of the subject property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center that the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Park be requested to provide water and sanitary sewer service to the above described property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution be directed to the Brooklyn Park Village Council. v January 24, 1966 Date Mayor ATTEST: 0 C Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, John Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the sams none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
