HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-023 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -23 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL OF NORTHERN STATES POWER COMPANY FOR THE PROVISION OF STREET LIGHTING SERVICE RESOLVED that the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Hennepin County, Minnesota, hereby accepts the proposal of the NORTHERN STATES POWER COMPANY, A Minnesota corporation, commencing April 1, 1967 for an initial period of five (5) years, to furnish street lighting service with all lights located or to be located in said Village, and hereby approves all rates, terms, conditions, and specifications in the Street Lighting Contract made a part of the proposal of said Company, including a map setting forth the schedule for conversion of lights, and the proper officers of the Village are hereby authorized and directed to execute the aforesaid Contract for and in the name of the Village, and to affix the corporate seal thereto. February 7, 1966 Date 1 Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, john Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
