HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-030 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -30 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT NO. 1966 -9 WHEREAS, -it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement consisting of the following: 1966 -9 Water Main improvement in Drew Avenue North from County Road 10 to 58 -1/2 Avenue; 58 -1/2 Avenue North from Drew Avenue to Ewing Avenue; Ewing Avenue North from County Road 10 to 61st Avenue; Admiral Lane from County Road 10 to Ewing Avenue; Admiral Place from Admiral Lane to Commodore Drive; Pearson Drive from Admiral Lane to Commodore Drive; Commodore Drive from Pearson Drive to Ewing Avenue; 61st Avenue North from Ewing Avenue to T. H. 152 (Osseo Road). WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost of $85,600.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center Minnesota as follows: g Y 1. The Council ro oses to proceed under authority ranted P P P Y g by Chapter 398, Laws of Minnesota, 1953, as amended. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the Village Hall in the Village on Monday, the 7th day of March, 1966, at 8 :00 o'clock P.M., and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the Village. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS -WHERE THE PROJECT IS TO BE CONSTRUCTED. 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Water Main Improvement No. 1966 -9. February 21, 1966 Date Mayor ATTEST: K c4y4J� Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing�resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, ohn Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the ollowing voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
