HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-044 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -44 RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A CHECK CASHING FUND AT MUNICIPAL LIQUOR STORE 3 AND TO REDUCE THE CHECK CASHING FUNDS AT MUNICIPAL LIQUOR STORES 1 AND 2 WHEREAS, there is a need for a check cashing fund at Municipal Liquor Store 3 and experience has shown that the check cashing funds at Municipal Liquor Stores 1 and 2 can be reduced; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center as follows: 1. There is hereby established a check cashing fund for Municipal Liquor Store 3 in the amount of $500.00 which shall be maintained at the Village depository (Brooklyn Center State Bank) in which all checks cashed by the store shall be deposited. The depository is authorized to deliver to the manager or the assistant manager of the Village liquor stores funds in exchange for such checks upon written order signed by the manager or assistant manager, except that the amount withdrawn at any one time shall not exceed $500.00. 2. The check cashing fund for Municipal Liquor Store 1 shall be reduced to the amount of $3,500. 00. 3. The check cashing fund for Municipal Liquor Store 2 shall be reduced to the amount of $1,500.00. Mayor ATTEST: r �1 Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member john Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Earl Simons and Howard Heck, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
