sideration of proposed Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1966 -10.
The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of
hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication
thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on
March 2, 1966, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory
and ordered placed on file.
The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to
present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement.
After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners
appearing in favor of said improvement, memberTheodore Willard introduced
the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 66 -55
RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF STREET SURFACING
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1966 -10
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is
necessary for the best interests of the Village and the owners of
property specially benefited thereby, that the following improvement
shall be constructed:
1966 -10 Street Surfacing Improvement on Drew Avenue North
from County Road 10 to 58 -1/2 Avenue; 58 -1/2 Avenue North
from Drew Avenue to Ewing Avenue; Ewing Avenue North from
County Road 10 to 61st Avenue; Admiral Lane from County
Road 10 to T. H. 152 (Osseo Road); Admiral Place from
Admiral Lane to Commodore Drive; Pearson Drive from
Admiral Lane to Commodore Drive; Commodore Drive from
Pearson Drive to Ewing Avenue; 61st Avenue North from
Ewing Avenue to T. H. 152 (Osseo Road).
Estimated cost is $48

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl
Simons, John Leary and Theodore Willard,
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
