HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-056 CCR Member Earl Simons introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption; RESOLUTION NO. 66 -56 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN TAX FORFEITED LAND IN THE VILLAGE OF BROOKLYN CENTER TO BE USED FOR PARK PURPOSES WHEREAS, there is situated within the boundaries of the Village of Brooklyn Center and the County of Hennepin certain tax forfeited land, and WHEREAS, the Village of Brooklyn Center desires to obtain the said land for park purposes; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center that the Village Administrator be instructed to make application for conveyance of tax forfeited lands as herein described and further, that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign such application for conveyance. The land is described as follows: Plat No. 89027 Parcel 1022. Commencing 37 4/10 ft. East of NW corner of Govt. Lot 1, Section 27, Twp. 119, Range 21, thence South parallel with West line thereof to Northerly line of Palmer Lake Terrace 2nd Addition, thence Westerly and Northwesterly along Northerly line of said Addition to North line of SE 1/4, thence East to beginning; and Plat No. 89635 Parcels 9550, 9600 and 9650. Lots 13, 14 and 15, all in Block 10, Northgate March 21, 1966 Date *Mayor ATTEST: (��•t)'r v Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, John Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
