HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-057 CCR r Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -57 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and the Village Engineer have reported that on March 21, 1966, at 11:00 A.M., C.S.T., they opened and tabulated bids received for Deep Well Improvement Project No's. 1965 -36B (Construction of Well House #5) and 1965 -37B (Construction of Well House #6), and that said bids were as follows: Alt. A -1 Alt. A -2 Alt. M -1 Lightweight Concrete Special Air Bidder Main Base Bid Block; Units Coating Conditioning Far Kay Const. $34,726.00 +$500.00 $469.00 +$450.00 Company Carlson Lavine, $40,250.00 +$557.00 $240.00 +$850.00 Inc. Karl Dedolph $47,962.00 +$400.00 NO BID +$950.00 Const. Co. Bryan Const. $48,882.00 +$400.00 NO BID NO BID Company NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Mar -Kay Construction Company, in the amount of $34,707.00 (reject Alternate A -1, +$500.00, accept Alternate A -2 469.00 1 and accept Alternate M -1, +$450.00), as to furnishing of all work, labor and material in connection with Deep Well Improvement No's. 1965 -36B and 1965 -37B, according to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk, is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, a d said bid is hereby accepted. March 21, 1966 Date n Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, John Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
