HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-058 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -58 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and the Village Engineer have reported that on March 21, 1966, at 11:00 A.M., C.S.T., they opened and tabulated bids received for Deep Well Improvement Project No's. 1965 -36C (Electrical Installation for Well House #5) and 1965 -37C (Electrical Installation for Well House #6), and that said bids were as follows: Proj. 1965 -36C Proj. 1965 -37C Bidder (Well House #5) (Well House #6) Total Bid Skeldon 8 Green Electric, Inc. $3,132.45 $3 $6,274.20 Killmer Electric Co. $3,380.00 $3,230.00 $6 Gopher Electric Co. $3,595.00 $3,621.00 $7 Sallblad Electric Co. $4 $4 $8,966.00 Batzli Electric Co. $4,535.00 $4,630.00 $9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Skeldon Green Electric, Inc., in the amount of $6,274.20, as to furnishing of all work, labor and material in connection with Deep Well Improvement Project No's. 1965 -36C and 1965 -37C, accord- ing to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk, is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. March 21, 1966 Date XJ/Mayor C�JC ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons John Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
