HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-060 CCR r Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption RESOLUTION NO. 66 -60 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and the Village Engineer have reported that on March 21, 1966, at 11 :00 A.M., C.S.T., they opened and tabulated bids received for Deep Well Improvement Project No. 1965 -37D (Plumbing Construction for Well House #6), and that said bids were as follows: LeVahn Bros., Inc. $1,847.00 (No Bid Bond) Farr Plumbing Company $2,220.00 Bill Fignar Plumbing Company $2,694.00 (No Bid Bond) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Farr Plumbing Company, in the amount of $2,220.00, as to furnish- ing of all work, labor and material in connection with Deep Well Improvement Project No. 1965 -37D, according to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk is deemed to be the lowest and only bona fide bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. March 21, 1966 Date Mayor ATTEST: &J 1� t� Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, John Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
