HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-061 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -61 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT NO. 1966 -6 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improve ment consisting of the following: 1966 -6 Water main in Beard Avenue North from 59th Avenue to 60th Avenue; Abbott�Avenue North from 158 feet south of 59th Avenue to 150 feet north of 60th Avenue; Zenith Avenue North from 155 feet south of 59th Avenue to 150 feet north of 60th Avenue; York Avenue North from 152 feet south of 59th Avenue to 150 feet north of 60th Avenue; 59th Avenue North from T. H. 152 (Osseo Road) to Xerxes Avenue. WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost of $51,140.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 398, Laws of Minnesota, 1953, as amended. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the Village Hall in the Village on Monday, the 11th day of April, 1966, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., C.S.T., and the Clerk shall pub- lish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publica- tion in the official newspaper of the Village. 3. The areas proposed to be assessed for said improvement are as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE NAMED STREETS WHERE THE PROJECT IS TO BE CONSTRUCTED. 4. L�l�1�l,v'r.�.o Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, John Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
