HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-069 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -69 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1966 PARK GENERAL FUND BUDGET WHEREAS, the Village Council on November 8, 1965 in adopting Resolution No. 65 -228, which established 1966 budget appropriations, did resolve that it was the intent of the Council rt to provide funds from unappropriated surplus for such additional capital improvements as may be deemed necessary; and WHEREAS, 1965 budget appropriations in the amount of $9, 800.00 for Park Capital Improvements were unexpended because of said improvements being postponed until 1966; and WHEREAS, said unexpended appropriations were transferred to Park General Fund Surplus on December 31, 1965; and WHEREAS, the 1966 Park Capital Improvement Budget does not provide for said improvements; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center that the 1966 Budget Appropriations be amended as follows: 1. There is hereby appropriated for Park General Fund Capital Outlay expenditures in 1966 from General Fund Surplus the sum of $70, 000.00. 2. There is hereby appropriated for Park General Fund Capital Outlay expenditures in 1966 from Park General Fund Surplus the sum of $9, 800.00. April 11, 1966 Date n Mayor ATTEST �y Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, Howard Heck, john Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
