HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-074 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -74 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR FURNISHING OF WATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS WHEREAS, the Village Engineer and Assistant to Administrator have reported that on April 4, 1966 at 2 :00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of water treatment chemicals and that said bids were as follows: Blended Chlorine Ammonium Hydrofluosilicic Poloyphos- Bidder Per 150 #cvl. Sulphate per cwt. Acid per cwt. phate per cwt McKesson Robbins Inc. 20.75 No Bid No Bid No Bid Lyon Chemical Inc. 20.75 4.75 8.40 30.00 Hawkins Chemical 20.75 4.75 8.40 No Bid NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Hawkins Chemical for the furnishing of Chlorine and Ammonium Sulphate in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. I BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Lyon Chemical for the furnishing of Hydrofluosilicic Acid and Blended Poloyphosphate is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereb acce ted. p p II April 11, 1966 Date Mayor ATTEST: 2 Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Simons and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof; Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, Howard Heck, John Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
