HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-075 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 66 -75 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR GASOLINE, FUEL OIL FOR HEATING AND DIESEL FUEL OIL WHEREAS, the Village Engineer and Assistant to Administrator have reported that on April 4, 1966 at 2 :00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of gasoline, fuel oil, and diesel fuel oil and that said bids were as follows: #2 Diesel Bidder Regular Gas Ethvl Gas #2 Fuel Oil Fuel Sinclair Refining Co. 17.8 /gal. 18.8 Vgal. 10.6 /gal. 10.6 /gal. (Less 1% 10 days on gas) Mobil 17.18 19.06 11.2 11.2 Midland 17.59 19.59 11.98 11.98 Western Oil Fuel 18.24 20.24 No Bid No Bid Standard Oil Co. 17.24 19.24 11.2 11.2 (Less 1% 10 Days on gas) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota the the bid of Mobil Oil Company in the amount 17. 18 for regular gas in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Sinclair Refining Co. in the amount of 10. 6� for #2 Fuel Oil and 10.6 for #2 Diesel Fuel in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted.
