HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-082 CCR Member Earl Simons introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 66 -82 RESOLUTION ACCEPTINC BID AND APPROVINC CONTRACT FORM WHEREAS, the Village Administrator and the Village Engineer have reported that on April 11, 1966, at 11:00 A.M., C.S.T., they opened and tabulated bids received for Deep Well Improvement Project No. 1965 -36A, and that said bids were as follows: Keys Well Drilling Company $7,890.00 Layne Minnesota Company $7,905.00 Tonka Equipment Company (Bergerson- Caswell, Inc.) $9,255.00 McCarthy Well Company $9 II'I Mueller Bros. Well Company $9,497.00 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Keys Well Drilling Company, in the amount of $7,890.00, as to furnishing of all work, labor and material in connection with Deep Well Improvement Project No. 1965 -36A, according to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the Village Clerk is deemed to be the lowest and best bid sub- mitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. April 18, 1966 Date 74 1 11 ayor ATTEST: 5 a Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member john Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, john Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
