HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-089 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 66 -89 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED CURB 6 CUTTER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1966 -18 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an im- provement consisting of the following: 1966 -18 Curb and gutter on Dupont Avenue North from 64th Avenue North to 65th Avenue "forth. WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost of $3,331.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 398, Laws of Minnesota, 1953, as amended. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the Village Hall in the Village on Monday, the 2nd day of May, 1966, at 8 :00 o'clock P.M., D.S.T., and the Clerk shall pub- lish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publica- tion in the official newspaper of the Village. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE NAMED STREETS WHERE THE PROJECT IS TO BE CONSTRUCTED. 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Curb 9 Gutter Improvement No. 1966 -18. April 18, 1966 D to Mayor ATTEST: a C44t4 Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, John Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
