HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-094 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO.66 94 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF WILLOW LANE' AND 65TH AVENUE NORTH WHEREAS, Darrel Farr, has petitioned the Village Council to vacate that portion of Willow Lane and 65th Avenue North described as a tract of land 50 feet in width over Lot 16, Auditor's Subdivision 310, the center line of which connects a point on the south property line of the above described lot distant 476.50 feet east of the southwest corner thereof and a point on the north line of said lot distant 391, 74 feet east of the northwest corner thereof, which is not contained within the boundaries of Willow Lane and 65th Avenue North as platted in Farr's First Addition, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota and recorded with the Registrar of Titles, Hennepin County, Minnesota. WHEREAS, Darrel Farr owns all of the abutting property of the proposed vacation. I� NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center that a_public hearing shall be held in the Village Hall in the Village on the 16th Day of May 1966 at 8 :00 P.M. to hear objections, if any, to the vacation of the above described street, and the clerk shall post and publish notice of this hearing as required by law. April 25, 1966 Date ayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member john Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, john Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
