HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-096 CCR The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the con sideration of proposed Grading, Base 6 Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1966 -17. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publica- tion thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on April 27, 1966, which affidavit was examined and found satisfac- tory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 66 -96 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF GRADING, BASE 6 SURFACINC II1PR.OVEMENT PROJECT 1 1966 -17. BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Pinnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the Village and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the follow- ing improvement shall be constructed: 1966 -17 Grading, Base 6 Surfacing; Dupont Avenue north from 64th Avenue North to 65th Avenue North. Estimated cost is $11,490.00. May 2, 1966 Date f Mayor c-- ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, Howard Heck, John Leary and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
