HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-099 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 99 RESOLUTION REGARDING REZONING APPLI- CATION NO. 66011 SUBMITTED BY JOHN HORBAL WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on April 14, 1966, recommended that the northerly portion of the East quarter of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 26, T. 119, R. 21, be zoned R2, a proposed zoning district which has as its primary permitted use duplex (two family) dwellings; and WHEREAS, the Village Council, on April 25, 1966, agreed in principle with the Planning Commission's recommendation regarding the rezoning of this northerly portion of the property above described to an R2 zoning classification and defined the limits of the parcel to be rezoned more exactly;. and WHEREAS, the R2 zoning classification has not yet formally been adopted, but the Village Council wishes to allow the owner to utilize the property in the manner to which it would be possible if the R2 zone existed presently; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a special use permit is hereby granted to allow construction of ten (10) duplexes on that portion of the E 1/4 of the S.E. 1/4 of the S.E. 1/4 of Section 26, T. 119, R. 21, lying north of the south 713.0 feet thereof, provided that the property is subdivided into appropriate lots for duplex purposes, acid that in all other ways, the development of this property be in accordance with Village Ordinances. May 2, 1966 Date f/ Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willaro,and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Simons, John Leary, Howard Heck, and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none., whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
